KIDS CAN SEW CLUB --- every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 3pm to 4:30 pm. A fun way to learn the basics of sewing and textile crafts.
Bobbin Lacemaking for Beginners. Mar 22 and 23. 10 am to 3 pm
Despite looking very complicated, this delightful art form can be learned easily in the 2 day workshop. You will begin with the two basic moves used in all laces, and learn 4 stitches using those two moves. By the end of the second day, you will have made samples of several lovely lace edgings and have the knowlege to follow the grid-based patterns on your own. You never handle more than two pairs of bobbins at a time, so if you can count to four, you can do this!!
Class fee of $125 (plus tax) includes your materials, patterns and use of equipment for this 2 day workshop.
